Monthly service agreements reflect the build, maintenance responsibilities, and expected changes. Setup, minimum term, ownership, and exit and transfer provisions are explained in the written proposal.
The difference is who built the site and who is responsible for running it.

Each engagement has a written scope based on the website, systems, and support required. The proposal lists responsibilities, fees, and any term commitments before work begins. New features, full redesigns, and major integrations are scoped separately. Third-party fees may also be separate. Updates are limited to the capacity stated in the agreement.
QUESTIONS
The questions to ask before you commit.
What is the difference between Website Care and Managed Websites?
Website Care looks after a website you already own, wherever it was built. Managed Websites covers a new site that we build, host, maintain, and improve under a monthly agreement.
Is there a setup fee?
Setup arrangements are described in the written proposal before work begins. Fees depend on the build and the support involved.
Can I cancel? What happens to my website?
Any minimum term, notice period, and transfer process are written in the proposal before you sign. Your domain stays registered to you by default.
Who owns my domain, content and source code?
Your domain is registered to you by default. Ownership of content and source code, including any transfer if the arrangement ends, is set out in the written agreement.
Are hosting, third-party tools, email and licences included?
Managed Websites include supported hosting. Website Care does not include hosting by default. The proposal lists any separate tools, email services, licences, and domain renewals.
What counts as an update?
Routine work includes text edits, image swaps, small fixes, and changes to existing layouts. New pages, features, redesigns, and major integrations are scoped separately.
What happens if a task exceeds monthly capacity?
Your agreement explains how work beyond the monthly capacity is handled. It may move to a later period or become a separately scoped project.
Do unused update hours roll over?
The agreement states whether capacity carries over. Update capacity is always defined.
Can you support a website your team didn't build?
Often, yes. We first assess the site, its hosting, and the access available. If the site is not a fit for Website Care, we will say so.
Does this include search rankings, ad management, or 24/7 emergency support?
No. These plans do not guarantee search rankings, include advertising management, or provide round-the-clock emergency support. Response times are stated in the agreement.
